A2000 Data Protection Policy

This document (“Policy”) applies to all personal data collected by A2000 Solutions Pte Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “A2000”).

The purpose of this Policy is to inform you of how A2000 manages Personal Data which is subject to the personal data protection principles under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) (“the Act”) or similar personal data protection principles applicable to companies which provide company formation and administration services.

By submitting your data to us, you agree and consent to us, the Organization, and our need to collect, use and disclose and/ or retain your Data in the manner set forth in this Personal Data Protection Policy.

This Policy supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents you may have previously provided to A2000 regarding your Personal Data, and your consents herein are additional to any rights which A2000 may have at law to collect, use or disclose your Data.

A2000 may, from time to time, update this Policy to ensure that this Policy is consistent with our future developments, industry trends and/or any changes in legal or regulatory requirements. Personal Data
  1. In this Policy, “Personal Data” refers to any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access, including data in our records as may be updated from time to time.
  2. Examples of such Personal Data you may provide to us include (depending on the nature of your interaction with us) your company name, your name, any identification number, age or birth date, mobile number(s), telephone number(s), facsimile number(s), mailing address, email address, network data and any other information relating to any individuals which you have provided us via our interaction with you.
Collection of Personal Data

We provide individuals with clear options to consent to or object to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data. Consent will be obtained in writing, electronically, or via any other verifiable method before processing, unless an exception applies under the PDPA. Individuals are informed of their rights and the mechanisms to withdraw consent at any time. Such information is included in our privacy notices, contracts, and all relevant data collection forms.

Example: For job applicants, personal data collection is subject to their explicit consent, and lack of consent may prevent continuation of the recruitment process.

Generally, we collect Personal Data in the following ways:
  • When you submit any forms relating to any of our products and services.
  • When you enter into any agreement or provide other documentation or information regarding your interactions with us or when you use our services.
  • When you interact with our staff, for example, via telephone calls, letters, face-to-face meetings, social media platforms and emails.
  • When you interact with us via any of our websites or use services on any of our websites.
  • When you request that we contact you or request that you be included in an email or other mailing list.
  • When you respond to our promotions, initiatives or to any request for additional Personal Data; when we capture your images via CCTV cameras while you are within our premises; or via photographs or videos taken by us or our representatives when you attend events at our premises.
  • When you are contacted by, and respond to, our marketing representatives.
  • When we receive references from business partners and third parties, for example, where they have referred you.
  • When you engage us through any social media on the Internet and on the social media itself.
Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Accuracy of Personal Data: We take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy and completeness of personal data at the point of collection and throughout our relationship with the individual. Verification methods include reviewing identification documents (e.g., NRIC/FIN for job applicants), requesting signed self-declarations, and cross-checking submitted qualifications or credentials. We rely on individuals to provide accurate and up-to-date information, and we encourage them to inform us promptly of any changes.

Generally, “A2000 Solutions Pte Ltd” collects, uses and discloses your Personal Data for the following purposes:
  • Responding to your queries, feedback and requests;
  • Verifying your identity and processing payments;
  • Managing the administrative and business operations of “A2000 Solutions Pte Ltd” and complying with internal policies and procedures;
  • Providing updates and other communications on developments relating to A2000;
  • Facilitating business asset transactions involving A2000;
  • Conducting investigations relating to disputes, billing or fraud;
  • Managing and preparing reports on incidents and accidents;
  • Meeting or complying with any applicable rules, laws, regulations, codes of practice or guidelines issued by any legal or regulatory bodies which have jurisdiction over “A2000 Solutions Pte Ltd” (including but not limited to responding to regulatory complaints, disclosing to regulatory bodies and conducting audit checks, due diligence and investigations);
  • Project management;

Exceptions to Consent Requirement: In specific situations permitted under the PDPA or other applicable laws, personal data may be collected, used, or disclosed without consent. These include:

  • Emergencies threatening the life, health, or safety of any individual.
  • Situations necessary in the national interest.
  • Compliance with legal, regulatory, or investigative requirements.
    These exceptions are documented in our Data Protection Management Program (DPMP) and are periodically reviewed to ensure continued compliance.

All personal data use and disclosure activities are cross-checked against our Data Inventory Map (DIM). The DIM outlines the categories of personal data held, the purposes for which consent was obtained, authorised disclosures, and retention periods. Any intended use or disclosure outside the DIM must be escalated to the Data Protection Officer for review and additional consent obtained where necessary.

In addition, A2000 collects, uses and discloses your Personal Data for the following purposes, depending on the nature of your relationship with us:
a) If you are a client of A2000:
  • Assessing and processing any applications or requests made by you for products and services offered by A2000, including professional services, customization services, system enhancements and system upgrades services.
  • Requesting feedback or participation in surveys, as well as conducting market research and/or analysis for statistical, profiling or other purposes for us to review, develop and improve the quality of our products and services;
  • Facilitating the continuation or termination of the relationship and the provision of services to you in accordance with the mandate that you have agreed with us;
  • Client relationship management, including sending information relating to our services and business, services offered by third parties, event invitations, newsletters or publications;
b) If you are an existing employee of A2000:
  • Providing remuneration, reviewing salaries and bonuses, conducting salary benchmarking reviews, appraisals and evaluation;
  • Saff orientation and entry processing;
  • Administrative and support processes relating to your employment, including its management and termination, as well as staff benefits, including manpower, business continuity and logistics management or support, processing expense claims, medical insurance applications, medical services, leave administration, training, learning and talent development, and planning and organizing corporate events;
  • Providing you with tools and/or facilities to enable or facilitate the performance of your duties;
  • Compiling and publishing internal directories and emergency contact lists for business continuity;
  • Conducting analytics and research for human resource planning and management, and for us to review, develop, optimize and improve work- related practices, environment and productivity;

  • Administering cessation or termination processes; and/or
  • Any other purpose reasonably related to the above said.
c) If you submit an application to us as a candidate for an employment position:
  • Managing and verifying your application;
  • Performing background checks, and verifying all your employment details and qualifications;
  • Providing or obtaining employee references and for background screening;
  • Assessing your suitability for the position applied for; and/or
  • Any other purposes relating to any of the above.
  • If you have provided your Singapore telephone number(s) and have indicated that you consent to receiving marketing or promotional information via your Singapore telephone number(s), then from time to time, A2000 may contact you using such Singapore telephone number(s) (including via voice calls, text, fax or other means) with information about our products and services.
  • When the need arises for Personal Data to be collected, used or disclosed for purposes other than the ones originally consented for, we will obtain your fresh consent in that regard, where necessary, in accordance with the Act.
  • As A2000 relies on your Personal Data to provide products and services to you, you should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct.
Disclosure of Personal Data

Third parties who receive personal data from A2000 are contractually required to promptly notify us if they discover that any personal data provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Upon notification, A2000 will take corrective action to update or rectify the personal data in a timely manner.

A2000 will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, your Personal Data may be disclosed by A2000, for the purposes listed above (where applicable).

Before disclosing personal data to any third party, A2000 verifies that the data is accurate, complete, and up to date. This verification may include checking against original records, obtaining recent updates from the individual, or reconfirming the data with the relevant internal department.

Non-Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you as long as these parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our and others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

International Transfer of Information

Information that you give us may be stored and processed and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate to enable us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Retention of Personal Data

a) A2000 will retain your Personal Data for only as long as the purpose for which such data is collected or used continues, or where necessary for our legal or business purposes (“Purposes”).

b) A2000 will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all Personal Data is destroyed or permanently deleted if it is no longer required for those Purposes.

Use of Cookies

a) A cookie is a small piece of information that is placed on your computer when you visit certain websites. The cookies placed by the servers hosting our websites are readable only by us, and cookies cannot access, read or modify any other data on an electric device, nor does it capture any data which allows us to identify you individually. The data collected by the cookies will be used for the purpose of improving your browsing experience on our websites and to enable A2000 to serve you better.

b) Should you wish to disable the cookies associated with these technologies, you may do so by changing the setting on your browser. However, you may not be able to enter certain part(s) of our websites.

Data Security

A2000 will take reasonable efforts to protect Personal Data in our possession or our control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

Links to Other Websites

Our websites may contain links to other websites operated by third parties. As A2000 does not have any control over such third-party websites, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by third parties that are linked to our websites. Once you have left our websites, you should check the applicable data protection policy of the third party to determine how they will handle any information they collect from you.

If you have any questions or feedback relating to your Personal Data or our Policy and
  • Would like to withdraw your consent to any use of your Personal Data as set out in this Policy; or

Queries and complaints received are responded with 5 working days in relation to complaints, the response includes an explanation of remedial action where relevant.

If personal data is disclosed to public agencies, courts and law enforcement agencies when required for the purposes of investigations or proceedings, the DPO will send the request to the DP Committee for formal approval before releasing it.

If you withdraw your consent to any or all use or disclosure of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, A2000 may not be in a position to continue to provide our products or services to you or administer any contractual relationship in place. Such withdrawal may also result in the termination of any agreement you may have with us. A2000 legal rights and remedies are expressly reserved in such an event.

Requests Relating to the Use and/or Disclosure of Personal Data

A2000 recognises the right of individuals to be informed on the use and/or disclosure of their personal data. Upon receiving a written request, and after verifying the identity of the requester, A2000 will provide, in a timely manner:

  • A description of the types of personal data we hold in relation to the individual;
  • The purposes for which such personal data has been used and/or disclosed; and
  • The parties or categories of parties to whom the personal data has been disclosed.

All such requests, along with the responses provided, will be documented and retained for accountability and audit purposes. This process will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act and A2000’s Data Protection Management Program.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We keep our privacy policy under regular review. If we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times. This privacy policy was last updated on 08th August 2025.

Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore according to the Personal Data Protection act.
